A hot water unit equipped with a hot water re-circulating pump will maintain a more consistent level of heated water to be used through their home. Your boiler will need to be vented. The standard smoke pipe should be located close to the boiler. You should attach it directly to the boiler. Add extra pipe with elbows, if necessary, to create a safe connection. Secure it with sheet metal screws until the pipe is in place. The final step in the installation is to connect the line that runs to the house to the boiler. Before doing this, check your local plumbing codes to ensure you’re in compliance. In most states, you’ll be able to use a black threaded pipe from the to the new hot water boiler. Once all of the connections are secure, turn on the water at the mains and allow the hot water boiler to fill. |
